ABOUT US

In 1963, Ashland Lock & Security Solutions started as a small Mom and Pop lock shop. Mom and Pop, Mardelle and Robert Gruber, started their locksmith company out of a love of the trade. This devotion and skill they instilled in their two sons who grew up spending Saturdays sweeping out the store and hanging key blanks.

In 1984, Pop sold out to his eldest son Jim who has tried to build his love of the trade into a force of highly trained locksmiths. Now with his wife Anne, Jim has moved Ashland Lock & Security Solutions. into all phases of locksmithing including but not limited master keying, electronic access control, high security locks, automotive lock key and programming services, closed -circuit television, and much more.

This vision has been strongly driven by our commitment and devotion to the artistry involved in fine security craftsmanship. We are deeply concerned about our customer's security. We also understand that security concerns cannot wait; and pride ourselves on our timely service, which we are continuously striving to improve. In addition, we never forget the value of a small job or the lessons learned from a difficult job.

Ashland Lock & Security Solutions remains a family company. While we have expanded and grown and seek to grow further still, we treasure the values Mom and Pop started the company with; and hope that our customers believe in our dedication.

We believe this ongoing love of what we do sets us apart from our competitors. We eagerly seek to hone and redefine our skills, because we love what we do. We enter new areas of security because we are interested and excited by new trends in the industry. We care about our customers because we haven't forgotten where we have come from!
